Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British artist and singer. She was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December, 1986 in Hereford. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of the charts with her electro pop music after getting the public's attention through her hit songs "Starry Eyed,"" and "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. With her distinctive soprano voice and knack for composing captivating, yet emotional music, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap, stands at the forefront of contemporary mainstream music and artistic, non-conformist pop.Goulding was soon moving from the blogosphere to print media, garnering the attention of mainstream magazines like The Guardian and fielding offers from record labels. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a major contract. The album she released was scheduled for release.
