Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. She is most well-known as the host of CNN's morning program At This Hour. In the past, she was a co-anchor of the CNN on weekdays mornings New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been a part of CNN's award-winning coverage of the presidential elections of 2012 and 2016. Bolduan also worked in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. In her time as a member of Capitol Hill Unit Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported about the legislative process and congressional events such as talks to increase the federal debt limit and the super committee discussion. She also was a general assignment correspondent and reported on topics such as the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme court's decision on Obamacare and the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus plan. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource in the year 2007. As the CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she reported breaking news to more than 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided features reports. The stations she worked for were NBC News, MSNBC, and WTVD-TV. She lives with her family and her family in New York City.
