Niykee who's had many a hectic few years which included being chosen by Snoop to perform with him at the YouTube Brandcast May 2013 Niykee has a regular songwriting routine despite all this. Songwriting is a source of inspiration for new producers. Niykee constantly listens to music and comes across beats songs that inspire her. After five seconds, I'm able to tell whether a track is good or not. I then get an idea for the song and write the lyrics immediately. When I am playing my guitar outside on my porch, words start to flow. A majority times, it's completed in just 30 minutes. Niykee is continuing to improve her skills as a poet and the lyricist. She explains how the trauma she endured in the past has served as an infinite sources of inspiration. The pain I felt growing as a child and the loss of my sister is present in my songs, even if they're not exactly literal. The lyrics are influenced by it and adds more profund meaning. I believe this is the key for success.
