Lis Wiehl works as an American writer and legal analyst who previously worked as an analyst for Fox News analyst.
She currently serves as an adjunct law professor at New York Law School. Prior to that she served as an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She provided legal commentary on Bill O'Reilly's radio show as well as National Public Radio. She is a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs tonight. Wiehl was born in Yakima, Washington, and was a graduate of West Valley High School in Yakima. She completed her studies at Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree from 1983. In 1985 she received her Master of Arts degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she received the Juris Doctorate at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor for the US Attorney's office. She also worked as a legal reporter on NPR's All Things Considered. She served as assistant chief investigator counsel to Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. Her tenure at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 until 2001. She ran the school's Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl served as an Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
