Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been as a performer, model and animal rights advocate in the US. Her movies include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). She was raised by an artist family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of art. While working as an assistant to photographers then she turned her attention to acting and modeling. In her first two films, she was recognized as a winner of her the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw became an international star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. After only three movies, MacGraw was declared the most successful female at the box office in history. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 and signatures were recorded at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv show The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
